Position Overview
The client is a member acquisition and enrollment platform focused exclusively on the government-sponsored health plan market.
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), strategic investments, and the development of a robust financial structure to support our growth ambitions. This role is critical as we scale our organization and integrate new acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership:
- Lead the financial strategy, planning, and analysis functions.
- Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and reporting systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Strategic Investments:
- Oversee and evaluate strategic investments and acquisitions.
- Conduct financial due diligence and integration of new entities.
- Provide insights and recommendations on investment opportunities.
- Financial Structure Development:
- Build and implement financial systems, including ERP and general ledger.
- Establish and maintain internal controls and compliance.
- Develop reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to streamline financial operations and processes.
- Support the growth of the organization by identifying areas for improvement.
- Team Building:
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong background in FP&A, strategic investments, and financial operations.
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry, particularly Medicare Advantage, is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
